Change in the management of ALUWAG AG

Markus Wagner, member of the management board, will leave ALUWAG AG at the end of February 2020 for health reasons. He relieves himself of managerial tasks and will reorient himself professionally. With the departure of Markus Wagner, the top management level of the company will be reorganized.

At the end of February 2020, Markus Wagner will leave ALUWAG AG for health reasons. Markus Wagner worked for ALUWAG AG for over 14 years. As Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Management Board, he played a key role in shaping the development of the company. René Wagner, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the company, comments: “Markus Wagner has made a valuable contribution to the success of our company in recent years. I would like to thank Markus Wagner for his great commitment. ALUWAG AG wishes him a speedy recovery and every success in his future tasks".

Management is growing

With the departure of Markus Wagner, the top management level of the company will be reorganized. Giorgio Favero, existing member of the Executive Board and CFO, will take over Markus Wagner’s responsibilities as of March 1, 2020.

Furthermore, the Board of Directors of ALUWAG AG promotes Olivia Fürer and Raphael Hutter to the Executive Board. Olivia Fürer has held various positions at ALUWAG AG for around 24 years. She has been Head of Human Resources since May 2019.

Raphael Hutter has been working at ALUWAG AG for over 14 years, most recently as head of the sales and marketing department.

Both specialists bring well-founded and many years of experience to the new tasks. ALUWAG AG is sticking to its business model and is looking positively to the future with the new composition of the management board.
